Tatūnga

1. Tāuta Pūhiko: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit. Insert the required batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
2. Hononga tirotiro: Connect the stainless steel temperature probe cable into the designated port on the side or back of the main unit. Ensure a firm connection.
3. Turanga Tuatahi: Place the main unit on a stable surface or use its integrated stand/magnet (if available) for convenient viewing. Ensure the probe cable is not kinked or exposed to direct heat sources beyond its intended use.

Te Ine Maama

1. Whakahiko: The device typically powers on automatically once batteries are installed and the probe is connected. Note that this model may not feature a dedicated power switch; to turn off, the battery may need to be removed.
2. Kōwhiringa Waeine: Use the “°C/°F” button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature readings.
