Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent personal injury or damage to the charger or battery:

- For positive-grounded vehicles, connect the BLACK (-) charger clip to the negative (-) battery terminal. Then connect the RED (+) charger clip to the vehicle chassis or engine block, away from the battery.
- Alternatively, use the ring terminal connectors for a more permanent connection to the battery terminals.

- Automatic Maintenance: This charger is designed to automatically switch to a maintenance mode once the battery is fully charged, preventing overcharging and keeping the battery at an optimal level.
