Sealing FoodSaver Vacuum Zipper Bags

- Locate the Air Valve: Identify the circular air valve on the bag.
- Position the Sealer: Press the nozzle of the FreshSaver Handheld Sealing System firmly and flatly over the air valve on the bag. Ensure a tight seal between the nozzle and the valve.

- Monitor Sealing: Continue holding the unit in place until the bag becomes taut around the food and the unit automatically stops, or until you observe sufficient air removal.
- Tuku: Once sealing is complete, release the ON button and lift the unit from the bag.
Sealing FoodSaver Containers
- Whakaritea te Ipu: Place food into a FoodSaver vacuum-sealable container. Securely close the lid.
- Locate the Accessory Port: Identify the accessory port on the container lid.
- Connect Accessory Hose (if applicable): If your FreshSaver system includes an accessory hose, connect one end to the handheld unit's accessory port (if present) and the other end to the container's accessory port. If no hose is present, the handheld unit may directly seal certain containers.
- Tīmatahia te hiri: Press the ON button on the handheld unit. The unit will begin to remove air from the container.
- Monitor Sealing: Continue holding the unit (or hose connection) in place until the unit automatically stops, indicating a vacuum has been achieved.
