  2. Plug the large end of the AC power adapter into a wall outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
  3. Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base.

Setting the date and time is crucial for the answering system's time stamp and Caller ID record keeping.

  3. Enter the month, day, and year using the keypad. Press KORERO after each entry.
  4. Enter the hour and minute. Press KORERO.

4. Registering Additional Handsets (Optional)

This system is expandable up to 12 handsets using the CRL30102 accessory handset. To register a new handset:

  1. Place the unregistered handset in the telephone base.

  3. If registration is successful, the handset will display Kua rehitatia and emit a beep.
  4. If registration fails, try again. If it continues to fail, refer to the troubleshooting section.

Operating Your Telephone

Waea Kaiwaea me te Waea Tatari

This phone supports Caller ID and Call Waiting services. You must subscribe to these services from your telephone service provider.

  • Kaiwaea ID Panui: The phone announces the name of the caller (if available in your directory or Caller ID service) when it rings. This feature can be enabled or disabled via the menu.
  • Waea Tatari: If you are on a call and another call comes in, you will hear a tone. Press WAIATA / PUTA hei huri ki te waeatanga hou.
  • The phone stores up to 50 Caller ID entries. Press CID ki te review the Caller ID log.

Pūnaha Whakautu Mamati

The base unit features a digital answering system to record messages when you are unavailable.

  • Whakakā/Weto: Perehi ANS ON/OFF i runga i te waeine turanga.
  • Te Whakatangi Karere: Perehi TAKARO/TATA on the base unit to listen to messages.
  • Te peke i ngā Karere: I te purei, pehia HUKU to go to the next message.
  • Ngā Karere e Whakahoki Ana: I te purei, pehia TUARUA to repeat the current message. Press twice to go to the previous message.
  • Muku Karere: I te purei, pehia MUMU i runga i te waeine turanga.
  • Te purei puhoi: Perehi PAKORE on the base unit to play messages at a slower speed.

Mana Rōrahi

Cleaning Your Telephone

Clean the telephone with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or abrasive powders. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the telephone.
