  3. Hononga Wairere:

    Connect 8-inch diameter ducting to both the intake and exhaust ports of the fan. The fan features a rubber gasket for an air-tight duct connection. Use duct clamps or tape to secure the connections, ensuring no air leaks.

  4. Hononga Hiko:

    Plug the fan into a standard North American 3-prong outlet (NEMA 5-15P). Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and rated for 120 Volts. Do not use extension cords unless absolutely necessary and ensure they are rated for the fan's wattage (232 Wāti).

The Vortex S-Line S-800 fan is designed for straightforward operation.

  1. Whakahiko: Once installed and connected to power, the fan can be turned on using its integrated button control.
  2. Aronga Rererangi: The fan is designed to move air in one direction. Ensure the fan is oriented correctly for your ventilation needs. The integrated backdraft damper prevents air from flowing back when the fan is off.
  3. Speed Control (Optional): This model operates at a single speed (711 RPM). For variable speed control, an external compatible speed controller (sold separately) may be required. Refer to the speed controller's manual for installation and operation.
  4. Weto Whakakore: Press the button control to turn off the fan.
