First Use and Initial Cleaning

Your oven offers various cooking functions, including:
- Convection (Fan-Assisted) Cooking: Ideal for baking and roasting multiple dishes simultaneously. The fan circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity.
- Tunu: Suitable for grilling thin cuts of meat, toast, or browning dishes.
- Maama Umu: Allows you to monitor cooking progress without opening the oven door.
Te Pawera me te Tautuhinga Matama
Use the touch controls to select the desired temperature and cooking duration. The integrated display will show the selected settings and remaining cooking time.

Always ensure the oven is cool and disconnected from the power supply before cleaning. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent for cleaning the exterior surfaces. For the interior, use oven-safe cleaning products as per their instructions.
Te horoi i te Kuaha Umu
The oven door glass can be cleaned with a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or sharp objects that could damage the glass surface.
Te whakakapi i te Umu Lamp
Ensure the oven is cool and unplugged. Unscrew the protective cover of the lamp, replace the bulb with a new one of the same type (check specifications for wattage), and reattach the cover.
