  1. Tāuta Pūhiko:

    Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset. Insert the two AA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -). Close the battery compartment cover securely.

  2. Base Unit Connection:

    Plug the small end of the AC power adapter into the power jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the large end of the AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into a telephone wall jack.

    Place the handset in the telephone base to charge. The handset will beep, indicating it is properly seated and charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 12 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.

  4. Handset Registration:

    Your handset is pre-registered to the telephone base. If for any reason the handset is not registered (e.g., after a power outage or if you purchase an accessory handset), refer to the troubleshooting section or the full user manual for registration instructions.
