Before first use, insert a high-speed microSD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 32GB recommended) into the dashcam's memory card slot. Ensure the dashcam is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
2. Whakaeke i te Dashcam
Choose a suitable location on your windshield that does not obstruct your view. Clean the area thoroughly. The LAMAX C3 offers two mounting options:
- Maunga Momo Kapu: Attach the suction cup to the windshield and secure it by flipping the lever.
- 3M Adhesive Mount: Peel off the protective film and firmly press the mount onto the desired location. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to bond before attaching the dashcam.

3. Te Mana Hononga
Connect the car charger to the dashcam's power input and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). Route the cable neatly to avoid obstructing your driving.

- The dashcam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and the vehicle ignition is turned on.
- To manually power on/off, press and hold the Power button (⏻) located on the side of the device.

3. Tahua Whakaterenga
Use the buttons below the screen (OK, Up, Down, Menu) to navigate through the settings menu. Press the Menu button to enter the settings, use Up/Down to scroll, and OK to confirm selections.

4. Protecting Recordings (G-Sensor)
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When triggered, the current recording segment will be automatically locked and protected from being overwritten. You can manually lock a recording by pressing the "OK" button during recording.

When enabled, Parking Mode allows the dashcam to monitor your parked vehicle. If the G-sensor detects a collision or significant movement, the dashcam will automatically power on and record a short video segment, then power off. For extended parking surveillance, ensure the dashcam is continuously powered.

With Motion Detection enabled, the dashcam will start recording automatically when it detects movement in front of the lens. This feature is useful for surveillance when the vehicle is stationary. Ensure this feature is used appropriately to avoid excessive recording and memory card filling.
