  1. Whakapaia te Matapihi: Ensure the window frame surface where the handle will be mounted is clean and free of obstructions.
  2. Position the Handle: Place the handle in the desired position on the window frame. Ensure it aligns correctly for both opening and locking functions.

  4. Drill Pilot Holes (if necessary): If installing on a new surface or if pilot holes are not present, carefully drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Ensure the drill bit size is appropriate for your chosen mounting screws to prevent stripping or cracking.
  5. Whakaorangia te Kakau: Align the handle with the pilot holes and secure it firmly using appropriate screws (not included). Do not overtighten.
  6. Attach Cover Caps: Once the handle is securely mounted, snap the provided cover caps over the screw heads for a finished appearance.

  • To Unlock and Open: Rotate the handle to disengage the locking mechanism. Once unlocked, pull or push the handle to open the window to the desired position.
