  1. Tuwhera: Carefully open the back cover of the device to access the SIM card and battery compartments.
  2. Insert SIM & Battery: Insert your Vodafone 4G SIM card into the designated slot. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented. Then, insert the battery into its compartment.
  3. Utu: Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB cable. You can use a computer's USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter for charging. The device should be fully charged before first use.
  4. Tīmata: Press and hold the power key (located on the front of the device) until the device powers on. The LED indicators will light up.
  5. Tūhono:
    • On your computer, smartphone, or tablet settings, choose your Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi network name (SSID). This is typically found on a sticker inside the device or on the packaging.
    • Enter the password to connect. The password (Wi-Fi Key) is also found on the same sticker as the SSID.
    • If this is your first time connecting to the network and you are asked to activate your SIM or unlock it, go to vodafonemobile.wifi and enter the PIN for your SIM card.
