2. Nga korero haumaru
- Tuku Wera: These lights emit real UVA light and can become hot during operation. Exercise caution when handling and positioning them. Avoid placing them on or near flammable materials, or surfaces that can melt.
- Turanga: Ensure the lights are placed in locations inaccessible to children to prevent accidental burns.
- Hononga Hiko: Always use a grounded 3-prong power outlet. Ensure the power cord and plug are in good condition before use.
- Whakatauranga parewai: The lights are IP66 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use. However, ensure the power plug and switch are protected from direct water exposure unless specifically rated for such conditions.
- Parenga kanohi: Avoid prolonged direct exposure to the UV light. While designed with a high safety wavelength (385-400 nm), direct staring can cause discomfort.

4. Tatūnga
- Wewete: Carefully remove the black lights and all accessories from the packaging.
- Turanga: The lights feature an adjustable bracket for versatile placement. You can use the bracket to:
- Stand the light on a flat surface (e.g., floor, table).
- Mount the light to a wall or ceiling using appropriate screws (not included) through the holes in the bracket.
- Adjust the beam angle up to 180 degrees to direct the light as needed.
- Hononga Hiko: Plug the 3-prong power cord into a standard 110V AC grounded electrical outlet.
- Whakawhiti Kaha: Each light has an inline power switch on its cord for convenient on/off control.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
- Whakakā/Weto: Use the inline switch on the power cord to turn the black light on or off.
- Whakamahi Tino Pai: For the best blacklight effect, use the lights in dark environments or scenes without any other visible light sources. The UVA-level wavelength (385-400 nm) makes most reactive pigments, paints, and dyes glow vibrantly.

6. Tiaki
- Te horoi: Disconnect from power before cleaning. Wipe the light's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- parewai: The IP66 rating ensures protection against dust and powerful water jets. This makes the lights suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions.
- Rokiroki: When not in use, store the lights in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Te Raru
- Kare te Maama e Ka ana:

- Ensure the inline power switch is in the 'ON' position.

- Weak Glow Effect:
- Ensure the environment is sufficiently dark. Ambient light can diminish the blacklight effect.
- Verify that the objects you are trying to illuminate are fluorescent or UV-reactive.
- Te wera nui: If the light feels excessively hot, ensure it has adequate ventilation and is not obstructed. Relocate it if necessary to a cooler area or away from flammable materials.
