1.2 Te Hononga i te Waeine Turanga
- Connect the small end of the power adapter to the power jack on the back of the base unit. Plug the large end into a standard electrical outlet.
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the telephone jack on the back of the base unit. Plug the other end into a telephone wall jack.

1.3 Tāuta Pūhiko me te Whakatau
If the battery pack is not pre-installed, open the battery compartment on the back of the handset and connect the battery pack connector to the socket. Place the handset on the base unit to charge. The handset will emit a beep to confirm it is charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.

The phonebook can store up to 20 names and numbers. To access, add, or edit entries:

- Navigate to the Phonebook option using the CID or PANUI pere pere.
- Perehi MENU / OK to select. Follow the on-screen prompts to manage entries.
2.3 Caller ID and Redial
- ID Kaiwaea: The phone displays the last 10 caller numbers. Press the CID patene ki review te rarangi waea.
- Tuarua: The phone stores the last 5 numbers dialed. Press the PANUI button to access and redial these numbers.
2.4 Ringer Melodies
Choose from 10 ringer melodies (5 polyphonic and 5 standard). Access this setting through the MENU / OK button and navigate to the Ringer Settings option.
