2. Tatūnga me te Tāuta

Proper installation is crucial for optimal cooling performance. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Whakapaia te Papa Matua: Ensure your motherboard has the AM4 socket and the original CPU retention module (backplate) is in place. The cooler utilizes this existing backplate for secure mounting.
  2. Whakanohoia te Matao: Align the four spring-loaded screws on the cooler's base with the corresponding holes on the motherboard's backplate. The cooler comes with pre-applied thermal paste on its base, so no additional thermal compound is needed.
  3. Tiakina te Matao: Gently press down on the cooler to engage the screws with the backplate. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screws in a diagonal pattern (e.g., top-left, bottom-right, top-right, bottom-left) until they are snug. Do not overtighten. This ensures even pressure distribution and proper contact with the CPU.
  4. Hono Hono: Locate the 4-pin PWM fan header on your motherboard (often labeled "CPU_FAN"). Connect the cooler's 4-pin power cable to this header. This allows the motherboard to control the fan speed based on CPU temperature.

Note: The installation process involves handling delicate computer components. If you are unsure, consult a qualified technician.

3. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

Once installed, the AMD Wraith Stealth CPU Cooler operates automatically. The 4-pin PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) connector allows your motherboard to dynamically adjust the fan speed based on the CPU's temperature. This ensures efficient cooling when needed and quieter operation during lighter loads.
