1. Hua Neke Atuview

The ThermoPro Digital Cooking Thermometer TP15 is designed for accurate and rapid temperature measurement in various cooking applications. It features an IPX6 waterproof rating, a fast 3-4 second response time, high accuracy, a backlit LCD display, and a convenient design for ease of use and storage.

2. Tatūnga

2.1 Tāuta Pūhiko

The ThermoPro TP15 thermometer comes with one CR2032 Lithium Metal battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed:

3.1 Hiko / Whakaweto

To turn the thermometer on or off, press the ON/OFF button. The device will automatically power off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

3.2 Te Ineina o te Hahana

Insert the stainless steel probe into the center of the food or liquid you wish to measure. The temperature reading will appear on the LCD display within 3-4 seconds.

3.3 Pupuri Mahi

I te ine, pehia te HOLD/CAL button to lock the current temperature reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold and resume live temperature measurement.

3.4 Unit Switching (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the ° C / ° F. pātene kei runga i te taputapu.

Pehia te KAMARAMA button to activate the orange backlight for better visibility in dim environments. Press it again to turn off the backlight.

3.6 Mahi Whakatau

If you believe the temperature measurement is inaccurate, you can calibrate the thermometer:

  1. After turning on the thermometer, press and hold the HOLD/CAL button for 5 seconds to enter calibration mode.
  2. Insert the probe into ice water (a mixture of ice and water).
  3. Wait until the measured temperature stabilizes around 0°C (32°F). The thermometer will automatically calibrate.

3.7 Automatic Display Rotation

The display automatically rotates 180 degrees to match your hand orientation, ensuring easy reading from any angle.

4. Tiaki

4.1 Te horoi

The ThermoPro TP15 has an IPX6 waterproof rating, allowing it to be washed under running water. To clean:

  • Wash the stainless steel probe part with water.
  • Wipe the probe tip with a warm sponge or cloth, then dry thoroughly.

4.2 Rokiroki

For convenient storage, the thermometer features a built-in magnet and a hook. You can attach it to metallic surfaces like a refrigerator or hang it using the hook. A silicone cap is included for hygienic and safe storage of the probe.

  • Do not place the device in excessively high or low temperature environments, as this may damage electronic or plastic components.
  • Always use the silicone cap to protect the probe when not in use.

5. Te Raru

5.1 Displaying "LL.L" or "HH.H"

If the display shows "LL.L", it indicates that the measured temperature is below the minimum range (-50°C). If it shows "HH.H", the temperature is above the maximum range (300°C).

5.2 Nga Panui Tikanga

If you suspect the thermometer is providing inaccurate readings, perform the calibration procedure described in Section 3.6.

5.3 Thermometer Not Turning On

  • Check if the battery is correctly installed with the positive (+) side facing up.
