3. Tatūnga

Tāuta Pūhiko

  3. Insert one (1) AAA battery, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the diagram inside the compartment.

The device will automatically power on and begin displaying temperature and humidity readings once the battery is correctly installed.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

Te Maamaa me te Maama Whakaatu

Upon power-on, the device will immediately display the current indoor temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) and the relative humidity (RH%) on its LCD screen. Readings refresh every 10 seconds.

Tohu Taumata Whakamarie

The TP49 features a face icon indicator to quickly communicate the comfort level of your environment:

  • DRY (Sad Face): Ko te haumākū kei raro iho i te 30%.
  • COMFORT (Smiling Face): Humidity is between 30% and 60%, and temperature is between 68°F and 79°F (20°C and 26°C).

Ngā Wāhanga Pāmahana Whakawhiti (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the °C/°F button on the back of the device. Press this button once to toggle between the two temperature units.

5. Kōwhiringa Whakanoho

The ThermoPro TP49 offers versatile placement options to suit various locations:

  • Turanga Ripanga: Utilize the integrated foldable stand on the back of the device to place it upright on any flat surface, such as a desk, shelf, or nightstand.
  • Whakamuri aukume: The device features a strong magnetic back, allowing it to be securely attached to metallic surfaces like refrigerators or magnetic boards.
  • Maunga Iri: A hanging hole is provided on the back for mounting the device on a wall using a nail or screw.

6. Tiaki

Whakakapinga Pūhiko

When the display dims or stops functioning, it is time to replace the AAA battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1 to replace the battery. Ensure proper disposal of used batteries according to local regulations.
