It combines UV-C light sterilization with powerful vacuuming and a rolling & tapping function to remove dust, dirt, mites, germs, and bacteria without the need for chemicals. Please read this manual carefully before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

The SILVERCREST UV Mite Vacuum Cleaner offers three integrated functions for thorough cleaning:

  1. Whakahiko: Press the power button located on the handle to turn on the appliance.
  2. Whakakorenga UV Lamp: Ko te UV-C lamp is designed to sterilize surfaces. It will only activate when the appliance is placed firmly on a surface and the power button is pressed. This auto-off safety feature prevents accidental UV exposure. Move the vacuum cleaner slowly over the surface to be disinfected.
  3. Aratau korehau: Simultaneously with the UV lamp, the vacuum function will activate. Guide the appliance over mattresses, pillows, or upholstery. The powerful suction will draw in dust, mites, and other particles.
  4. Rolling & Tapping Function: This function works in conjunction with the vacuum and UV lamp. The integrated rollers and tapping mechanism help to dislodge deeply embedded dust and mites from fabric fibers, making them easier to vacuum.
  5. Te horoi pai: For best results, move the vacuum cleaner in slow, overlapping passes across the entire surface.
  6. Weto Whakakore: Press the power button again to turn off the appliance. Unplug it from the power outlet after use.

6. Tiaki

6.1. Emptying the Dust Tank

  3. Press the release and carefully remove the dust tank.
  4. Empty the contents of the dust tank into a waste bin.
  5. Reattach the dust tank securely until it clicks into place.

The HEPA filter is washable and should be cleaned regularly, depending on usage.

  1. With the dust tank removed, carefully take out the HEPA filter.
