3. Tohutohu Tatūnga
The DURHAND Portable Sawhorse is designed for quick and simple assembly and setup.
- E tuwhera ana: Carefully unfold the sawhorse legs until they are fully extended and locked into position. Ensure all support bars are properly aligned and secured.
- Turanga: Place the sawhorse on a flat, stable, and non-slip surface. For optimal stability, ensure the legs are spread to their full extent.
- Tirotiro: Before placing any material on the sawhorse, visually inspect all joints and connections to confirm they are secure and stable.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Once set up, the sawhorse is ready for use as a stable support for cutting various materials.
- Te Whakanoho Rawa: Carefully place the material (e.g., wood, pipe) onto the sawtooth struts of the sawhorse. Ensure the material is centered and balanced to prevent tipping.
- Turanga Haumaru: The sawtooth edges are designed to increase friction and prevent the material from sliding during cutting. Confirm the material is firmly seated against these edges.
- Tapahi: Proceed with your cutting task using appropriate tools and safety precautions. The sawhorse's stable triangular structure provides a reliable base for your work.
- Raukaha Taumaha: Do not load the sawhorse with more than 220 lbs (100 kg) of material. Overloading can compromise stability and lead to injury or damage.

5. Tiaki
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your DURHAND Portable Sawhorse.
- Te horoi: After each use, wipe down the sawhorse with a damp cloth to remove sawdust, debris, or any other residue. For stubborn grime, a mild detergent can be used. Ensure the sawhorse is dry before storage.
- Tirotiro: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and connections for tightness. Tighten any loose fasteners to maintain structural integrity. Inspect the steel frame for any signs of damage, bending, or corrosion.
- Rokiroki: When not in use, fold the sawhorse into its compact form and store it in a dry place, away from direct moisture or extreme temperatures. This prevents rust and preserves the material.
