Follow these steps to connect your ONIKUMA K8 Gaming Headset to your device.
Hononga Whanui
- Connect the 3.5mm audio jack from the headset into the corresponding audio port on your device (PC, console controller, mobile phone, etc.).
- For RGB lighting, plug the USB connector into an available USB port on your device or a USB power adapter.
Platform-Specific Setup
- PC/Mac: Connect the 3.5mm jack to the audio output port and the USB for lighting. If your PC has separate microphone and headphone jacks, use the included Y-splitter cable (if applicable) to connect the 3.5mm jack to both ports.
- TeihanaTākaro 4 (PS4): Plug the 3.5mm jack into the controller's headset port. Go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Output to Headphones > All Audio.
- Xbox One: For new Xbox One controllers with a 3.5mm jack, plug the headset directly into the controller. For older Xbox One controllers without a 3.5mm jack, a Microsoft Stereo Headset Adapter (not included) is required.
- Nintendo Whakawhiti: Plug the 3.5mm jack into the console's audio port.
- Mobile Devices (iOS/Android): Plug the 3.5mm jack directly into your phone or tablet's audio port.

Mana Rōrahi
The headset features an in-line control unit on the cable. Use the volume adjustment wheel to increase or decrease the audio output level.
Whakamahinga hopuoro
- Wahangu/Wahangu: Whakamahia te microphone switch on the in-line control unit to toggle the microphone on (ON) or off (OFF).
- Turanga: Adjust the flexible microphone boom to position the microphone optimally near your mouth for clear voice pickup. The microphone is 360° rotatable.
Rarama RGB
The RGB lighting is powered via the USB connection. Once the USB is plugged in, the headset's LED lights will illuminate. There is a dedicated Light/Volume switch on the in-line control unit to turn the lighting on or off, independent of the volume.
