Before first use, charge the parent unit battery for at least 12 hours. Connect the small end of the AC adapter to the parent unit and the other end to a power outlet. The battery icon will indicate charging status.

3.2 Positioning the Camera Unit

  1. Connect the camera unit's AC adapter to the camera and a power outlet.
  2. Press and hold the POWER button on the parent unit until the screen turns on.
  3. The units will automatically link. If they do not link, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Use the provided wall mount bracket, screws, and wall anchors to securely attach the camera unit to a wall. Ensure the camera is positioned at a height that provides a good viewing angle and is safely out of reach.

The parent unit features a 7-inch 720p HD display and various buttons for control:

  • MENU/TOKOHOKO: Access menu options and confirm selections.
  • ARROWS (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigate menus, pan/tilt the camera.
  • TOA: Magnify the camera view (up to 4x digital zoom).
  • Korero: Activate two-way talk.

The camera automatically activates HD night vision in low-light conditions, providing a clear view of the monitored area. The system uses infrared technology for visibility up to 1 meter in darkness.

4.5 VOX (Sound Activation Mode)

The monitor features VOX control, which automatically activates the screen when sound is detected above a set sensitivity level. This helps conserve battery life. You can adjust the VOX sensitivity to three levels via the parent unit's menu.

4.6 Lullabies and Ambient Sounds

The monitor can play 5 calming melodies and 4 ambient sounds to soothe the monitored individual. Access these options through the parent unit's menu.

4.7 Temperature Alerts

The camera unit includes a temperature sensor. The parent unit can display the room temperature and alert you if it goes outside a preset range.
