1. Kupu Whakataki

This manual provides instructions for the Olafus Wireless Spotlight 4-pack. These battery-operated LED accent lights are designed for indoor use, offering adjustable brightness, a timer function, and remote control for convenient operation. The spotlights feature a neutral white light at 4000K and are suitable for various applications such as illuminating artwork, displays, closets, and living spaces.

Note: 3 AAA batteries are required for each spotlight and are not included.

3. Tatūnga me te Tāuta

Follow these steps to set up your Olafus Wireless Spotlights:

3.1 Tāuta Pūhiko

  1. Gently twist the back cover of the spotlight counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert 3 AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Replace the back cover by twisting it clockwise until secure.

Important Battery Tips:

  • Always use new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries can shorten the lifespan of the new batteries and may cause the spotlight to malfunction.
  • If the light is off or dim, it indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.

3.2 Mounting the Spotlights

The spotlights can be installed using either the provided double-sided adhesive tape or screws.

    • Peel off one side of the double-sided tape and apply it firmly to the back of the spotlight.
    • Peel off the other side of the tape and press the spotlight firmly onto the desired surface (wall, ceiling, cabinet).

    • Use the provided screws to secure the spotlight base to the surface.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

Your Olafus Wireless Spotlights can be controlled via the included remote control.

4.1 Whakahohenga Tuatahi

After inserting batteries, the light may not activate immediately. Press the button on the light itself once, then the remote control will be functional.

4.2 Nga Mahi Mana Mamao

  • KIA/WATA: Press the "ON" button to turn the spotlight on, and "OFF" to turn it off.

    • Use the "+" and "–" buttons to gradually increase or decrease brightness.
    • Select preset brightness levels: 10%, 40%, 80%, or 100%.
  • Taumahi Matawā: Set the spotlight to automatically turn off after a specified duration: 10, 30, 60, or 120 minutes.

4.3 Adjusting the Light Head

The spotlight head can be rotated 360 degrees and tilted 90 degrees, allowing you to direct the light precisely where needed.

5. Tiaki

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your spotlights:

  • Whakakapinga Pūhiko: Replace all 3 AAA batteries in a spotlight when the light becomes dim or stops working. Always replace with new batteries.
  • Te horoi: Wipe the spotlights with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Rokiroki: If storing the spotlights for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
