The Naturehike Mongar tent features a Y-frame structure designed for easy and quick assembly. The installation instructions are also sewn inside the stuff sack for convenience.

  1. Wewete Waenga: Lay out the tent footprint (if using), inner tent, rainfly, poles, and stakes on a clear, flat surface.
  2. Huihuia nga Pou: Connect the aluminum alloy pole sections to form the main Y-frame structure.
  3. Tāpirihia te Tēneti o Roto: Secure the inner tent to the assembled poles. The tent is free-standing once the poles are attached.
  4. Drape Rainfly: Place the rainfly over the inner tent, ensuring proper alignment with the doors and vestibules.
  5. teneti Haumaru: Stake down the tent corners and vestibules using the provided pegs. Attach and tension the wind ropes for added stability, especially in windy conditions.

The tent features a symmetric ventilation system with two tent doors and two mesh windows to promote air convection. This design helps reduce condensation and maintain a comfortable interior climate. Ensure vestibules are partially open for optimal airflow when conditions allow.

Access and Storage

With two doors, entry and exit are convenient for both occupants. The two vestibules provide ample space for storing backpacks, boots, and other gear, keeping the inner tent clear and dry. Vestibules can be fully closed for weather protection or partially opened for ventilation and shade.
