Aratohu Tatūnga

Carefully remove the printer and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present:

  • SUNMI NT311 Printer

2. Te Mana Hononga

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC 24V/2.5A power input port on the back of the printer.

  1. Open the printer cover by pushing the cover open lever.

Hononga Kaituku Moni:

Connect your cash drawer to the RJ12 24V/1A port on the printer. The printer will trigger the cash drawer when a print command is sent.

Basic Printing:

Once the printer is connected and drivers (if required for your operating system, e.g., Windows) are installed, you can send print commands from your application. The printer will automatically print and cut the receipt.

Rama Tohu:

  • Tohu Hiko: Indicates the printer's power status.
  • Paper Exhaustion Sensor: Alerts when paper is low or out.
  • Anomality Indicator: Indicates an error condition (e.g., cover open, print head overheat).
  • Tohu Whatunga: Shows network connectivity status (for Ethernet/Wi-Fi models).

Replacing Paper Roll:

When the paper exhaustion sensor indicates low paper, or when the print quality degrades due to the end of the roll, replace the paper following the steps in the "Loading Thermal Paper" section.
