Utilizing digital 2.4 GHz FHSS technology, it ensures excellent video and audio transmission with minimal interference. This system includes a baby unit (camera) and a parent unit (monitor) for continuous monitoring.

4.1 Powering On the Units
- Waeine Pepe: Connect the small end of the baby unit power adapter to the DC jack on the back of the baby unit. Plug the large end into a wall outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Waeine Matua: Ensure the rechargeable battery is correctly installed in the parent unit. Connect the small end of the parent unit power adapter to the DC jack on the side of the parent unit. Plug the large end into a wall outlet. The parent unit will automatically power on and begin charging.

5.2 Baby Unit Features
- Tirohanga Po Infrared: Automatically activates in low light conditions to provide a clear black-and-white video feed.
- Pūoko pāmahana: Monitors the room temperature and displays it on the parent unit. An audible alarm can be set for too low or too high temperatures.
- Lullabies & Natural Tones: Remotely activate 2 lullabies and 4 natural tones from the parent unit to soothe your baby.
- Maama po: A soothing night light can be activated on the baby unit.
- Whakatikatika Tairongo: Adjust the microphone sensitivity on the baby unit to pick up sounds at different levels.

5.3 ECO Mode (VOX Function)
The ECO mode (Voice Operated eXchange - VOX) is designed to conserve battery life and reduce wave emissions. When activated, the parent unit screen will turn off, and audio transmission will cease when no sound is detected from the baby unit. The system will automatically reactivate (screen turns on, audio resumes) when the baby unit detects sound, such as your baby crying.
