This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Sena Parani M10 Bluetooth Motorcycle Headset. The Parani M10 allows for seamless communication and entertainment while riding, featuring Bluetooth intercom capabilities and smartphone connectivity for music, GPS, and calls. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and safety.

3. Hua Neke Atuview
Familiarize yourself with the main unit's components and controls.

- Waea Takahuri: Used for volume control, menu navigation, and various functions.
- Pātene Mahi-maha: Primary button for power, pairing, and call management.
- Whakaaturanga LCD: Shows battery status, volume level, intercom pairing status, and other operational information.
- DC Power Charging & Firmware Upgrade Port: For charging the device and updating its firmware.
- Speakers and Microphone Port: Connection point for the wired speakers and microphone.
4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
The Parani M10 is designed for easy installation on most motorcycle helmets.
4.1 Attaching the Main Unit to the Helmet
- Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet for the clamp kete.
- Loosen the screws on the helmet clamp kit and slide it between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Slide the Parani M10 main unit onto the clamp kia pao noa ki te waahi.

4.2 Installing Speakers and Microphone
- Attach the hook and loop fasteners to the inside of your helmet, aligning them with your ears.
- Press the speakers onto the fasteners. Ensure the speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal audio quality.
- Attach the wired boom microphone to the inside of the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth but not directly in front of it to avoid wind noise.
- Route the speaker and microphone wires neatly under the helmet padding to the main unit's port.
- Connect the speaker/microphone cable to the corresponding port on the Parani M10 main unit.
4.3 Te Whakataki i te Pūrere
Before first use, fully charge the Parani M10. Connect the USB charging cable to the DC Power Charging Port on the main unit and to a USB power source. The LCD display will indicate charging status.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1 Hiko / Whakaweto
- Whakahiko: Pēhia me te pupuri i te Pātene Mahi-maha mo te 1 hēkona.
- Weto Whakakore: Patohia me te pupuri i te Pihi Mahi Maha mo te 5 hēkona.
5.2 Mana Rōrahi
Rotate the Jog Dial clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume. The LCD display will show the current volume level.

5.3 Te Hononga Waea Atamai
- With the M10 powered off, press and hold the Multi-function Button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
- I tō waea atamai, haere ki ngā tautuhinga Nihokikorangi ka rapu i ngā pūrere hou.
- Select "Parani M10" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the LED will flash blue, and the LCD will confirm connection.
- You can now listen to music, GPS navigation, and make/receive phone calls through your headset.
5.4 Whakawhiti Korero Bluetooth
The Parani M10 supports intercom communication with up to four other Parani users on its dedicated Bluetooth intercom network.
- Pairing Intercom:
- Ensure both M10 units are powered on.
- On one M10 unit, press and hold the Jog Dial for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue.
- On the second M10 unit, press and hold the Jog Dial for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue.
- The units will automatically search and pair. Once paired, the LED will flash blue.
- Repeat this process for additional units (up to four total).
- Starting/Ending Intercom Conversation:
- To start an intercom conversation, tap the Jog Dial.
- To end an intercom conversation, tap the Jog Dial again.
5.5 Waea Waea
- Whakautu Waea: Patohia te Patene Mahi-maha.
- Whakamutu Waea: Patohia te Patene Mahi-maha.
- Whakakore Waea: Patohia me te pupuri i te Pihi Mahi Maha mo te 2 hēkona.
- Waea reo: In standby mode, press and hold the Multi-function Button for 3 seconds. (Requires smartphone support for voice commands).
6. Tiaki
6.1 Te horoi
Horoia te wae matua ki te ngohengohe, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents. Ensure all ports are dry before charging or use.
6.2 Tiaki Pūhiko
- Me utu te taputapu i nga wa katoa, ahakoa kaore i te whakamahia, kia mau tonu te hauora o te pākahiko.
- Avoid storing the device in extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to replace the internal battery yourself. Contact Sena support for battery service.
6.3 Whakahoutanga Firmware
Periodically check the Sena website for firmware updates. Updating the firmware can improve performance and add new features. Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable and follow the instructions provided by Sena's Device Manager software.

7.1 Tautuhi Tautuhi
If issues persist, a factory reset may resolve them. To perform a factory reset, press and hold the Multi-function Button and the Jog Dial simultaneously for 10 seconds. The device will reset to its default settings.
