4.1 Whakakaha i te Waeine Matua
The main display unit can be powered by the included USB cable for continuous operation and constant backlight, or by AAA batteries for data backup and portability.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, observing polarity.
- Connect the USB power cable to the main unit and plug the other end into a 5.0V AC power adapter (not included) or a USB port.

4.2 Te Whakaritea i te Puoko o waho
The wireless outdoor sensor transmits temperature and humidity data to the main unit. Proper placement is crucial for accurate readings.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor, observing polarity.
- Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation. Ensure it is within 328 feet (100 meters) of the main unit. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronic devices that could interfere with the signal.
- The sensor can be mounted using a screw or placed on a flat surface.

4.3 Pairing the Sensor
The main unit and sensor should automatically pair upon battery insertion. If pairing fails, follow these steps:
- Bring the outdoor sensor close to the main unit.
- Press and hold the 'CH' button on the main unit for 3 seconds to initiate a new search for the sensor.
- Remove and reinsert the batteries in the outdoor sensor to reset it.
- The main unit should display the outdoor temperature and humidity once successfully paired.

- Wā me te Ra: Displays the current time, date, and day of the week.
- Wahanga Marama: An icon representing the current lunar phase.

5.2 Te Whakarite Tirohanga
The display brightness can be adjusted to suit your preference:
- Press the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button on the top of the unit to cycle through brightness levels (High, Low, Off).

5.3 Tautuhi Wā me te Rā
Refer to the detailed instructions in the included paper manual for setting the time, date, and alarm functions.
5.4 Adding Additional Sensors
The weather station supports up to 3 wireless outdoor sensors. If you wish to monitor additional locations, you can purchase model WT2039 sensors separately from Wittime.

The transmission distance is up to 328 feet, but obstacles like thick walls can reduce this range.

- No Outdoor Reading / Incorrect Reading:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range (328 feet) and free from obstructions.
- Check batteries in both units and replace if necessary.
- Re-pair the sensor by pressing the 'CH' button on the main unit and resetting the sensor batteries.
- Verify the outdoor sensor is placed in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. - Display is Dim or Off:
- Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected and plugged into a working power source.
- Adjust the brightness setting using the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button. - Matapae Huarere Hē:
- The weather forecast is based on atmospheric pressure changes and is an estimation. It may not always perfectly match local conditions, especially during rapidly changing weather patterns.
