2.2 Tāutanga Pūhiko me te Kāri SD

The camera requires 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries. A 32GB Micro SD card is included for storage. Ensure the memory card is formatted via the camera's menu before first use.

  2. Insert 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries into the designated slots, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Insert the 32GB Micro SD card into the memory card slot.
  4. Turn the camera to "TEST" mode.
  5. Access the MENU settings. Navigate to "Format memory card" and confirm "YES" to format.
  6. Navigate to "Reset settings" and confirm "YES" to reset to default settings.
  7. Set the correct time and date via MENU -> Time & Date -> Set time & date.
  8. Close the camera casing haumaru.

  • Aratau Waahi: Captures images at set intervals for time-lapse sequences.

Key settings to configure:

  • Taumira Whakaahua: Up to 32MP for clear images.
  • Taumira Ataata: Up to 4K (3840x2160P) for vivid video.
  • Roa Ataata: Adjustable from 3 to 59 seconds, or 1 to 5 minutes.
  • Hopu Ororongo: Can be turned ON/OFF.
  • Tamuri Whakaputa: Sets the delay between detections. Recommended 20 seconds for general use.
  • Pūoko Nekehanga Tairongo: Adjustable (Low, Middle, High) to control trigger sensitivity.

3.2 Photo and Video Quality

The camera delivers ultra-clear pictures up to 32MP and videos up to 4K. The 0.2s trigger speed ensures quick capture of moving objects within its 120° wide-angle detection range.

Equipped with 40pcs no-glow 940nm Infrared LEDs, the camera captures clear black and white videos/images in the dark without disturbing animals. Adaptive illumination technology prevents overexposure or underexposure.
