4.1 Whakataki Tuatahi
Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port (located under the protective cover at the bottom) and to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

Download the Ctronics app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Rapua "Ctronics". Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.
4.3 Camera Pairing and Wi-Fi Connection
- Ensure your camera is fully charged and powered on.
- Open the Ctronics app and tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon.

- Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the installation location.

Choose a suitable outdoor location for your camera and solar panel. The solar panel should receive direct sunlight for several hours daily to ensure optimal charging. The recommended installation height for the camera is 2.6-3 meters above the ground for effective human detection.
- Mark the drilling positions using the mounting bracket as a template.

- Attach the camera to its mounting bracket.
- Attach the solar panel to its mounting bracket and connect its cable to the camera's charging port.

Open the Ctronics app and select your camera to view the live feed. Use the on-screen controls to pan the camera horizontally up to 3550 and tilt vertically up to 950, allowing for comprehensive area monitoring.

The camera features PIR (Passive Infrared) and AI human detection. When motion or a human figure is detected, the camera will send instant alerts to your smartphone. You can adjust sensitivity settings within the app to minimize false alarms.

The camera supports local storage via a TF (microSD) card (up to 128GB, not included). Recorded events can be viewed and managed through the Ctronics app's playback feature.

You can share live streams and recorded videos with family and friends directly through the Ctronics app. The camera supports remote access, allowing you to monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.

6. Tiaki
6.1 Battery Charging and Solar Panel Efficiency
The camera is powered by a rechargeable battery and continuously charged by the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves) to maximize charging efficiency. Periodically wipe the solar panel surface with a soft, damp kakahu.

Regularly clean the camera lens and the solar panel to ensure clear image quality and efficient charging. Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Periodically check the Ctronics app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.

If you encounter issues with your Ctronics camera, please refer to the common problems and solutions below. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
