1. Kupu Whakataki

The VTech Switch & Go Dinos Surprise is a unique collectible toy that allows children to build their own dinosaur from a mysterious egg. Each egg contains 15 building pieces, including electronic components that enable realistic lights and sounds. This toy features two distinct play modes: a Dinosaur mode and a Vehicle mode, which are activated through manual transformation.

With over 20 realistic sounds and phrases related to the world of dinosaurs, along with engaging light effects, the Switch & Go Dinos Surprise offers an interactive play experience. There are 8 different dinosaur models to collect, each with unique characteristics. Please note that the specific model inside each egg cannot be chosen.

The toy is designed with an automatic shut-off feature to conserve battery life. Each surprise dino requires one LR03 battery, which is included with the product.

2. Tatūnga

To begin playing with your VTech Switch & Go Dinos Surprise, follow these steps:

  1. Unpack the Egg: Carefully remove the dinosaur egg from its packaging.
  2. Open the Egg: The egg contains all the necessary pieces to build your dinosaur. Open it to reveal the 15 building components.
  3. Assemble Your Dino: Follow the visual instructions (if any are provided inside the egg) or use the image as a guide to connect the 15 pieces. Ensure the electronic components are correctly integrated to enable lights and sounds.
  4. Tāuta Pūhiko: The toy comes with one LR03 battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed, locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the main electronic piece, and insert a new LR03 battery, observing polarity.

3. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

Your VTech Switch & Go Dino offers two exciting play modes:

  • Aratau Tāneao: In this mode, your assembled toy resembles a dinosaur. It will emit realistic dinosaur sounds and phrases, accompanied by light effects.
  • Aratau Waka: Transform your dinosaur into a vehicle. The toy will automatically recognize the transformation and switch to vehicle-related sounds and phrases, along with light effects.

Huringa: The transformation between Dinosaur and Vehicle modes is manual. Gently manipulate the parts of the toy to switch between forms. The toy's internal sensors will detect the change and trigger the appropriate sounds and lights.

Sounds and Lights: The toy features over 20 unique sounds and phrases, along with dynamic light effects, enhancing the play experience in both modes.

4. Tiaki

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your VTech Switch & Go Dinos Surprise, please observe the following maintenance guidelines:
