4. Tatūnga & Tāuta

The fan comes with a 3-inch downrod for standard profile mounting. If your ceiling height is greater than 10 feet, an extension downrod may be suggested for optimal performance and safety. The fan blades should be no closer than 7 feet from the floor.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Mana Tere Fan
The fan speed is controlled by one of the pull chains. Pull the chain to cycle through the three available speeds: Low, Medium, and High. The WhisperWind motor ensures quiet operation at all speeds.

Light Kit Control
The integrated LED light kit is controlled by the second pull chain. Pull the chain to turn the light on or off.
Mahi Mōta Hurihuri (Aratau Raumati/Hōtoke)
The WhisperWind motor features a reversible function to optimize air circulation for both summer and winter seasons. A switch on the fan body allows you to change the blade direction:
- Aratau Raumati: Set blades to spin counter-clockwise to create a downdraft, providing a cooling effect.
- Aratau takurua: Set blades to spin clockwise on low speed to create an updraft, circulating warm air trapped near the ceiling.

To save energy, turn up your thermostat by 4°F and use your ceiling fan for consistent comfort. This can help reduce heating and cooling costs.

6. Tiaki
