Main Unit Controls and Ports:

5. Tatūnga

Follow these steps for initial setup of your micro component system:

1. Hononga Tukuoro: Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
2. Hononga Antenna FM: If included, connect the FM antenna to the FM antenna jack on the rear of the main unit for improved radio reception. Extend the antenna fully for best results.
3. Hononga Hiko: Plug the power cord into the AC IN socket on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard AC wall outlet (120V ~ 60Hz).
4. Turanga: Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. For optimal stereo sound, position the speakers equidistant from the listening area and spaced apart.

6.3. Rererangi Nihokikorangi

1. Pehia te ARatau/MAHA button to select 'Bluetooth' mode. The display will show 'BT' and flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.

3. Select 'SHARP XL-B512' from the list. Once paired, the 'BT' indicator will stop flashing.

6.4. Whakahoki USB

6.6. Tāuru Āwhina (AUX)

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
2. Pehia te ARatau/MAHA button to select 'AUX' mode.
3. Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the XL-B512 speakers.

The included remote control provides full functionality for your system.

Ensure the remote control is pointed directly at the main unit's sensor. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control, observing correct polarity.

6.8. Whakatikatika oro
