The HelloBaby Video Baby Monitor HB6351-2 offers advanced features for comprehensive baby monitoring. This system includes a large 5-inch LCD split-screen display, allowing you to view two cameras simultaneously. Key features include two-way talk, automatic night vision, remote pan/tilt/zoom for full room coverage, and temperature monitoring. It operates on a secure 2.4GHz FHSS wireless connection, ensuring privacy without requiring Wi-Fi or app downloads.

2. Tatūnga

2.1 Te Wetewete me te Tatūnga Tuatahi

  1. Utuhia te Wāhanga Matua: Connect the parent unit to a power source using the provided adapter. Ensure it is fully charged before first use for optimal battery performance.
  2. Position the Camera(s): Place the baby camera(s) in a secure location within the baby's room, ensuring a clear view of the crib or play area. The camera can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface. Ensure it is out of reach of children and that the power cord is securely routed to prevent strangulation hazards.

  4. Whakahiko: Turn on both the parent unit and the camera(s) by pressing and holding the power button.
  5. Te hono (mēnā e tika ana): The units are typically pre-paired from the factory. If no image appears or you are adding additional cameras, follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the 'Settings' menu on the parent unit to pair the camera(s).

The parent unit features a user-friendly interface with dedicated buttons for various functions. Familiarize yourself with the layout for easy operation.

3.2 Split Screen Monitoring

The large 5-inch LCD display provides a clear, safe view of your baby. The split-screen feature allows you to check out two rooms side-by-side on the screen, ideal for monitoring multiple children or different areas.

3.3 Korero Rua-Waahi

Our baby monitor features real-time sound and two-way talk. Get alerts when they cry, so parents can receive the signal and return to them quickly. To speak, press and hold the microphone button on the parent unit. Release the button to hear your baby.

3.4 Matakite Po

The product has a built-in infrared sensor that automatically switches to night vision mode when the environment becomes dark, providing excellent night vision without disturbing your baby.

3.5 Pania, Whakatītaha, me te Whakanuia

Keep an eye on your baby from anywhere in your home. The baby camera lens pans 318° horizontally and tilts 120° vertically to capture all corners of the room, while 2X zoom lets you get a closer look. Use the directional buttons on the parent unit to control the camera's movement.

3.6 Te Aroturuki Te Pawera

The parent unit displays the real-time temperature of the baby's room, helping you ensure a comfortable environment for your child.

3.7 Whakatangitangitangi

Soothe your baby to sleep by playing built-in lullabies directly from the camera, controlled via the parent unit.

3.8 Aratau ECO

The ECO mode helps conserve battery life. When activated, the parent unit screen will turn off, and the unit will only activate (screen turns on and sound is heard) when sound is detected from the baby's room, such as crying.

4. Tiaki

  • Te horoi: Wipe the parent unit and camera(s) with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surfaces.
  • Tiaki Pūhiko: To prolong battery life, fully charge the parent unit before long periods of inactivity. Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures.
  • Turanga: Ensure cameras are placed out of reach of children and all cords are secured to prevent entanglement or strangulation hazards.

5. Te Raru

  • Kāore he Tohu/Wawaotanga: Ensure both the parent unit and camera(s) are powered on and within range. Reduce obstacles between units. Check for other 2.4GHz devices (like Wi-Fi routers or cordless phones) that might cause interference and try moving the monitor or camera away from them.
  • Screen Frozen/No Display: Try restarting the parent unit by turning it off and on again. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Kore Oro: Check the volume settings on the parent unit and increase if necessary. Ensure the camera microphone is not muted.
  • Te Matakitenga Poipoi: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from dust or smudges. Check for any obstructions blocking the infrared sensors.
