• Hononga Hiko: Connect the processor to a stable 12V power source, ground, and remote turn-on lead.
• Pūtake Tāuru: Utilize the 6-channel RCA inputs for standard audio signals or the coaxial and USB (DAC) digital inputs for high-resolution sources. The unit also supports speaker-level inputs up to 30V.

2.3 Software and App Setup

The Alpine PXE-C60-60 Optim6 is primarily configured and controlled via a dedicated app. Download the OPTIM IOS App (for Apple devices) or the PC App (for Windows computers).

• Place the microphone in the primary listening position (e.g., driver's seat).
• Initiate the Auto-EQ process through the OPTIM App.
• The system will play test tones and analyze the sound, then apply corrections.

3.2 Manual Sound Customization

For advanced users, the OPTIM App provides extensive manual control over various audio parameters:

• Ngā Whakatikatika Whakawhiti: Set high-pass, low-pass, and band-pass filters for each channel to direct specific frequency ranges to appropriate speakers.
• Whakatikatika i te Wa: Adjust the delay for each speaker to ensure sound from all speakers reaches the listener's ear at the same time, creating a precise soundstage.
• Whakaōrite: Fine-tune the frequency response of each channel to match your preferences or compensate for vehicle acoustics.
• Tatūkē: Save up to six custom tuning settings for different music genres or listening preferences. These can be easily recalled via the app or an optional remote control.

3.3 Hi-Res Audio Playback

The PXE-C60-60 supports high-resolution audio playback at 96kHz/24Bit. Ensure your audio source and files are of high resolution to fully experience the clarity and detail this processor offers.
