Proper installation ensures optimal performance and safety. It is recommended to have the dash cam professionally installed to conceal wiring and ensure secure mounting.

The iQ 1K dash cam is powered via the OBD-II port. This allows for continuous power, enabling parking surveillance features.

4.3 Guardian Mode
