This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your QISUO iScan Portable Handheld Document Scanner. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference. The iScan Portable Scanner is designed for convenient scanning of A4 documents, books, and photos into JPG or PDF formats with resolutions of 300, 600, or 900 DPI. Its compact and lightweight design allows for scanning anywhere, anytime, without the need for a direct PC connection or external power supply during operation.

- Whakauruhia nga Pataha: Open the battery compartment and insert two AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Kōkuhu Kāri SD Micro: Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the scanner and insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB) until it clicks into place.
- Whakahiko: Press the "POWER/ON" button to turn on the scanner. The display panel will light up.
- Initial Calibration (White Balance):
For optimal scan quality, perform a white balance calibration before first use or if scan quality degrades.
- Ensure no Micro SD card is inserted during calibration.
- Place the scanner on a clean, white piece of paper.
- Press and hold the "SCAN" button and the "JPG/PDF" button simultaneously for approximately 2 seconds.
- The red and green indicator lights will illuminate. Do not move the scanner.
- Wait for the red light to turn off.
- After the red light turns off, smoothly slide the scanner up and down the white paper until the green light also turns off. This indicates successful calibration.

- Select Scan Mode (JPG/PDF): Press the "JPG/PDF" button to toggle between JPG and PDF file formats. The selected format will be displayed on the screen.
- Adjust DPI Resolution: Press the "DPI" button to cycle through the available resolutions: 300 DPI (Low), 600 DPI (Medium), and 900 DPI (High). Choose the desired resolution based on your quality requirements.
- Scanning a Document:
- Place the document you wish to scan on a flat, stable surface.
- Hold the scanner firmly with both hands.
- Press the "SCAN" button once to start scanning. The green indicator light will turn on.
- Slowly and steadily slide the scanner across the document, ensuring even pressure and movement. Avoid tilting or moving too quickly/slowly to prevent distortion.
- Press the "SCAN" button again to stop scanning. The green indicator light will turn off.

- Scanner not turning on:
- Check if batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
- Replace with new batteries if necessary.
- Scanned images are distorted or blurry:
- Ensure the scanner is moved slowly and steadily across the document.
- Perform a white balance calibration (refer to Setup section).
- Clean the scanning glass with the provided cloth.
