3. Aratohu Tatūnga

3.1 Whakauru Whakauru

To begin, download the official KinetCam application to your smartphone. You can find the download link by scanning the QR code provided in the Quick Guide manual or by searching for 'KinetCam' in your device's app store (compatible with iOS and Android).

3.2 Te Whakataki i te Kaamera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, power bank, or computer USB port). The camera features a 1200mAh battery, offering up to 4 hours of recording on a full charge. For extended use, the camera can record while charging.

3.3 Te hono ki Wi-Fi

Open the KinetCam app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your camera to your home Wi-Fi network. This process is straightforward and typically takes only a few minutes. Once connected, you can access the camera's live feed and settings remotely.

3.4 Tāuta Kāri SD Micro

For local video storage, insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot on the camera. Ensure the card is inserted correctly as shown in the diagram. The camera supports loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest footage ina ki tonu te kaari.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

4.1 Ora View & App Control

Once connected, open the KinetCam app to view the live feed from your camera. The app provides various controls, including rotating the view, accessing activity zones, enabling voice communication, and taking snapshots. You can monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.

4.2 Te Motini me nga Whakaoho

The camera features advanced motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will instantly send an alarm notification to your phone app, allowing you to be aware of any unexpected activity in real-time. This feature is crucial for home security and monitoring.

4.3 Matakite Po

Equipped with 4K HD resolution and infrared LEDs, the KinetCam camera provides clear night vision footage up to 20 feet. This ensures continuous security monitoring even in complete darkness, making it suitable for nighttime surveillance of your home, baby, or pets. The video quality remains decent, allowing for recognition of faces.

4.4 Te Tuhi me te Purei Anō

The camera supports loop recording to an inserted Micro SD card, ensuring continuous capture of events. The app provides easy playback functionality, allowing you to review tuhia footage conveniently. This feature is essential for reviewing past events or incidents.

4.5 Te Whakanoho me te Whakaeke

The KinetCam camera's compact size and magnetic base allow for versatile and discreet placement. It can be easily mounted on walls or other surfaces using the provided magnetic base and adhesive discs. Its wireless design eliminates the need for complex wiring, offering flexibility in positioning.

5. Tiaki

5.1 Te horoi

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.

5.2 Tiaki Pūhiko

Charge the camera regularly to ensure it is ready for use. If storing the camera for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% to preserve battery health. Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures.

6. Te Raru

If you encounter issues with your KinetCam camera, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Nga take hono: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and the camera is within range. Restarting both the camera and your router can often resolve connection problems.
  • Kounga Ataata Kino: Check your Wi-Fi signal strength. Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Verify that the camera is set to 4K HD resolution in the app settings.
  • Tere Whakaheke Pūhiko: Ensure the camera is fully charged. Reduce continuous recording time or connect to a power bank for extended operation.
  • Kaore i te Mahi te Motini: Check app settings to ensure motion detection is enabled and sensitivity is adjusted appropriately.
  • Nga Take Taupānga: Ensure your app is updated to the latest version. Try reinstalling the app if problems persist.
