This feature automatically detects a sudden drop in temperature (more than 1.5°C within 5 minutes), indicating an open window. The thermostat will temporarily turn off heating for 30 minutes to prevent energy waste. Heating resumes if no operation is performed for 30 minutes or if the temperature rises by more than 1.5°C within 4.5 minutes. This function must be enabled in the app.
The open window detection feature helps save energy by temporarily pausing heating when a window is open.

If you notice a discrepancy between the actual room temperature and the temperature displayed on the TRV, you can calibrate the internal sensor using the app. The adjustment range is typically -10°C to +10°C.
