This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your new video intercom system. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper functionality and safety. This system features a 10-inch touch screen monitor, a 1080P wired outdoor doorbell unit, and supports multiple unlocking methods including fingerprint, RFID card, password, and remote access via the Tuya APP.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta

4.1 Nga Tohutohu Waea

The indoor monitor and outdoor doorbell unit require a wired connection. The system is designed for stability and reliability through a 4-wire connection. A 3-meter 4-core cable is provided for basic installation for each doorbell, and a 1.2-meter external power supply for each monitor. You can extend the distance using standard 4-core cables (RVV4/Cat5/Cat6/RG59) up to 300 feet.

  • Connect the outdoor doorbell unit to the indoor monitor using the provided 4-core cable.
  • Ensure correct polarity for power and signal wires.
  • The main indoor monitor can connect to your home WiFi network for Tuya APP functionality. Note that WiFi connectivity is for the monitor's internet access, not for wireless communication between the monitor and doorbell unit.
  • If connecting electronic locks, ensure they are 12V compatible. The system supports connecting all 12V electronic locks (lock not included).

4.2 Hiko-Whakaahua Tuatahi

After completing all wiring, connect the power adapter to the indoor monitor. The system will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including language selection and WiFi configuration for the main monitor.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

5.1 Nga Tikanga Wewete

The system offers five convenient ways to unlock your door:

  1. Via Monitor: When a visitor rings the doorbell, the indoor monitor will display the video feed. Tap the unlock icon on the touch screen to open the door.
  2. Kauira: The outdoor unit is equipped with a fingerprint reader. Up to 200 fingerprints can be registered. Place your registered finger on the sensor to unlock.
  3. Kupuhipa: Enter your pre-set password on the outdoor unit's keypad.
  4. Kaari IC: Use one of the five provided IC cards by swiping it over the designated area on the outdoor unit.
  5. Taupānga Tuya: If your main monitor is connected to WiFi, you can remotely unlock the door using the Tuya APP on your smartphone from anywhere.

5.2 Whakawhitiwhiti Ororongo-rua

When a visitor presses the doorbell, all connected indoor monitors and your smartphone (via Tuya APP) will ring. You can then see, hear, and speak to the visitor at your door. To communicate, simply answer the call on the monitor or APP. You can also initiate internal calls between multiple indoor monitors.

5.3 Te Kitenga Nekehanga me te Hopu

The outdoor doorbell camera features motion detection. When motion is detected or the doorbell is pressed, the system will automatically record video or capture snapshots. These recordings are saved to the included 32GB Micro SD card. You can review these events on your indoor monitor or remotely via the Tuya APP on your mobile phone.

5.4 Tautuhinga Reo

The system supports multiple languages. You can change the display language through the monitor's settings menu. Supported languages include English, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Dutch, and Traditional Chinese.

  • Te horoi: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the indoor monitor screen and the outdoor unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Wae Waho: Periodically check the outdoor unit for any obstructions to the camera or fingerprint sensor. Ensure the rain cover is properly positioned.
  • Waea waea: Occasionally inspect wiring connections for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Whakahōu Pūmanawa: Check for available firmware updates through the Tuya APP or monitor settings to ensure optimal performance and security.

7. Te Raru

  • No Power to Monitor: Tirohia te hononga o te urutau hiko, kia mōhio ai kei te mahi te putanga hiko.
  • No Video/Audio from Outdoor Unit: Verify the 4-wire connection between the monitor and doorbell unit. Ensure all wires are securely connected and not damaged.
  • Kāore te pere tatau e tangi ana: Check wiring. Ensure the doorbell unit is receiving power. Check monitor settings for ringtone volume.
  • Unlock Function Not Working: Ensure the electronic lock is correctly wired to the outdoor unit and receiving power. Verify unlock settings on the monitor.
  • Tuya APP Connectivity Issues: Ensure the main indoor monitor is successfully connected to your home WiFi network. Check your router and internet connection.
  • Hototahi: This system is designed to work optimally with its own components. We cannot guarantee compatibility with indoor monitors or outdoor cameras from other brands. If you need to connect to another system, please contact ANJIELO SMART technical support before purchase.
