2. Nga Korero Haumaru Nui

- This heater is hot while in operation. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Keep children, clothing, and furniture away.

3. Nga Hua o te Hua
The ProCom MN300TBA-B heater offers efficient heating with several key features:
- Hangarau: Produces 30,000 Maximum BTU using Natural Gas, heating up to 1400 sq. ft.
- Whakawhirinaki: Features a thermostat control with High/Medium/Low settings for optimal heat flow.
- Huhua: Slim and modern profile, suitable for wall mounting or floor placement with included base feet.
- Haumaru: Equipped with a push-button ignition and a built-in pilot Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) for safety. ANSI Certified.
- Watea: Operates without electricity, making it suitable for power outages.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
This heater can be installed as a wall-mounted unit or placed on the floor using the provided base feet. Professional installation is recommended for gas connections.
4.1 Te Wetewete me te Tirotiro
Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Ensure all components, including base feet and wall mount hardware, are present.
4.2 Ngā Whakaaro mō te Tūnga
- Ensure the heater is placed on a level, stable surface if using base feet.
- Maintain proper clearances from combustible materials as specified in the full installation instructions.
- Do not install in a bedroom or bathroom.
- Ensure adequate ventilation in the room where the heater is installed.
4.3 Kōwhiringa Whakaeke
The heater comes with hardware for both wall mounting and floor placement.
- Maunga Maunga: Use the included wall bracket and fasteners to securely attach the heater to a suitable wall surface.
- Base Feet: Attach the provided base feet to the bottom of the heater for freestanding operation.

4.4 Hononga Hau
This heater operates on Natural Gas. Connect the heater to your natural gas supply line according to local codes and manufacturer instructions. It is highly recommended to have a qualified professional perform the gas connection to ensure safety and proper function.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Follow these steps to operate your ProCom Ventless Natural Gas Heater:
5.1 Ngaahi
- Me mohio kei te ka te toha hau.
- Turn the thermostat control knob to the 'PILOT' setting.
- Push and hold the control knob in while simultaneously pressing the ignitor button repeatedly until the pilot flame lights.
- Continue to hold the control knob in for approximately 30-60 seconds after the pilot lights to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob slowly. If the pilot goes out, repeat the process.
5.2 Adjusting Heat (Thermostat Control)
Once the pilot is lit, turn the thermostat control knob to your desired heat setting. The heater offers High, Medium, and Low settings to maintain a comfortable room temperature.
5.3 Whakaweto
- To turn off the main burner, turn the thermostat control knob to the 'OFF' position. The pilot light will remain lit.
- To completely shut down the heater (including the pilot light), turn the control knob to 'OFF PILOT'.
- For extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to turn off the main gas supply valve to the heater.

6. Tiaki

- Te horoi: Keep the burner and control compartment clean. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and lint from the air intake and outlet grilles.
- Pilot Light and Burner Inspection: Periodically check the pilot light and main burner flames for proper appearance (blue, steady flame). Refer to the full manual for detailed flame characteristics.
- Hononga hau: Annually inspect all gas connections for leaks using a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for gas leaks.
- Ratonga Ngaio: It is recommended to have your heater inspected by a qualified service technician at least once a year.
7. Te Raru
If you encounter issues with your heater, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps. For persistent problems, contact a qualified service technician.
