4.2 Tikanga Hononga

  1. Tūhono Pūhiko: Connect a 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery to the BATT interfaces (4). Ensure correct polarity. The module does not include a battery holder, so batteries must be purchased separately.
  2. Connect Solar Panel (Optional): Connect a 6V-24V solar panel to the Solar panel charging input (1). The module supports self-adaptive input voltage.
  3. Connect Type-C Power Adapter (Optional): Alternatively, or in addition to solar, connect a 5V Type-C power adapter to the Type-C charging input (2) for battery charging.
  4. Tūhono Uta: Connect your 5V device to the Power output (3) screw terminal. Ensure the device's current draw does not exceed 3A.

Hiranga: Always ensure correct polarity for all connections to prevent damage to the module and connected devices.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

5.1 Te Whakataki i te Pūhiko

  • Whakatauhia te ra: When a solar panel is connected and exposed to sufficient sunlight, the module will automatically begin charging the connected 3.7V Li-ion battery. The "Charge" LED (part of Solar panel charging indicators, 9) will illuminate. Once the battery is fully charged, the "Done" LED will light up.
  • Momo-C te utu: Connect a 5V Type-C power adapter to the Type-C input (2). The module will charge the battery. The BATT capacity indicators (8) will show the charging progress.

5.2 Powering External Devices

  • The module provides a regulated 5V/3A output via the screw terminal (3). Connect your 5V device to this output.
  • The Type-C port (2) can also function as a 5V output for external devices when not used for charging.

5.3 Tohu LED

  • BATT Capacity Indicators (8): These LEDs light up when the battery is charging or under load. They will turn off approximately 30 seconds after the load is removed.
  • Solar Panel Charging Indicators (9):
    • Utu: Illuminates when the solar panel is actively charging the battery.
    • Ka mea: Illuminates when the battery is fully charged by the solar panel.

6. Tiaki

  • Te horoi: Puritia te kōwae kia ma, kia kore hoki he puehu, he paru rānei. Whakamahia he kakahu ngohengohe, maroke hoki hei horoi. Kaua e whakamahi i ngā wai, i ngā mea horoi rānei e whakakoi ana i te kiri.
