Follow these steps carefully to assemble your BAKAJI office chair. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

  1. Tāpirihia ngā Wira ki te Tūāpapa: Insert each of the five wheels into the openings at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
  2. Insert Gas Lift Cylinder: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the 5-star base. Ensure it is seated securely.
  3. Whakapirihia nga Taonga ringa ki te nohoanga: Align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat. Secure them using the provided screws and Allen key. Do not overtighten.
  4. Whakapirihia te Tautokonga ki te nohoanga: Connect the backrest to the seat using the designated mounting points and hardware. Ensure a firm connection.
  5. Honoa te Huinga nohoanga ki te hiki hau: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the central mechanism aligns with the top of the cylinder. Apply gentle downward pressure to secure.
  6. Taki Whakamutunga: Verify that all screws are tightened and all components are securely in place before using the chair.

Your BAKAJI office chair offers several adjustable features to customize your seating experience.

    • To raise the seat: Lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat. The seat will rise automatically.
    • To lower the seat: Lift the lever while remaining seated. The seat will lower under your weight.
  • Mahi hurihuri: The chair is equipped with a 360° swivel mechanism, allowing for easy rotation in any direction. Simply rotate the seat as desired.
  • Mahi Whakatītaha/Whakamuri: The chair features a single recline position. To recline, pull the lever on the left side, beneath the seat, outwards. Lean back to recline. Push the lever inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.
  • Tautoko Lumbar: The chair's backrest is ergonomically designed to provide integrated lumbar support, promoting a correct posture and reducing spinal pressure. This feature is fixed and not user-adjustable.

6. Tiaki me te Tiaki

  • Te horoi: Wipe the chair regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For ecopelle (faux leather) surfaces, use a mild soap solution if necessary, then wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Tirotiro: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Retighten if loose to maintain stability and safety.
  • Tiaki wira: Keep the wheels free of hair and debris to ensure smooth movement.
