Tohutohu Tatūnga

  1. Prepare Sponges and Seeds: Soak the provided sponges and your chosen seeds in water for a recommended period (refer to seed packet instructions).
  2. Assemble Pods: Place a soaked sponge into each planting basket.
  3. Insert Seeds: Using the tweezers, carefully place 2-3 seeds into the hole of each sponge.
  4. Cover Pods: Stick the provided stickers over the top of the sponges to create a dark environment for germination. Place a grow dome over each planted pod to maintain humidity.
  5. Add Water and Nutrients: Remove the water inlet cover. Fill the 8-liter water tank with fresh water up to the 'Max' line, visible through the transparent window. Add the recommended amounts of Plant Food A and B (refer to the plant food instructions for dosage).
  6. Hono Hono: Plug the power adapter into the system and then into a power outlet. Plug the water pump cable into its designated port on the back of the unit.

Lighting Modes and Timer Options

The 28W full-spectrum LED grow light simulates natural sunlight with red, blue, white, and far-red light colors. Choose from three preset lighting modes:

  • Vegetables Mode: Optimized for leafy greens.
  • Flowers & Fruits Mode: Ideal for flowering and fruiting plants.
  • Herbs Mode: Best for various herbs.

Two timer options are available: an automatic 16-hour-on cycle (recommended for most plants) and an innovative 22-hour-on cycle to accelerate growth for light-loving plants.

Silent & Smart Water Circulation

The intelligent silent water pump operates at less than 40 decibels, ensuring a peaceful environment. The system automatically circulates water every 30 minutes to ensure even nutrient distribution and increase oxygen levels. The large 8-liter water tank requires water changes only every 4 weeks, and a transparent window allows for easy monitoring of water levels.

The growth light height is adjustable up to 15.4 inches, accommodating plants at different growth stages and ensuring adequate light exposure and growth space. The innovative detachable light pole design also simplifies tank maintenance.

  • Nga Huringa Wai: The large 8-liter water tank typically requires water changes only every 4 weeks. Monitor the transparent water level window.
  • Nutrient Addition: Add Plant Food A and B according to the instructions provided with the plant food. The included supply is sufficient for approximately 3 weeks.
  • Te horoi: The detachable light pole design allows for easy access to clean the water tank. Regular cleaning helps prevent algae growth and ensures optimal plant health.
