Designed for privacy, it operates without Wi-Fi or an app connection, ensuring a private signal. 2. Tatūnga

Follow these steps to set up your HelloBaby monitor system:

  1. Wewete Waenga: Carefully remove the parent unit (monitor), two baby units (cameras), and power adapters from the packaging.
  2. Whakahiko: Connect each camera and the monitor to a power outlet using the provided adapters. Ensure the power indicators light up.
  3. Takirua Aunoa: The cameras and monitor are pre-paired at the factory. Once powered on, the monitor should automatically display the video feed from the cameras. If not, refer to the "Troubleshooting" section for manual pairing instructions.
  4. Whakanoho Kaamera: Position the baby cameras in your baby's room(s) at a safe distance from the crib (at least 3 feet/1 meter away) to avoid any cord hazards. Ensure a clear line of sight to the baby. The cameras can be placed on a tabletop or mounted on a wall.
  5. Aroturuki Whakanoho: Keep the parent unit within the transmission range (up to 1000 feet in an open area) for optimal signal.

Important Note on Connectivity: This baby monitor uses 2.4 GHz FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for a secure, private connection. It does not require Wi-Fi or an internet connection, ensuring your privacy and preventing unauthorized access to your video feed.

3.1 Parent Unit (Monitor) Controls

3.2 Nga waahanga matua

  • Korero Rua-Waahi: Press and hold the talk button on the parent unit to speak to your baby through the camera. Release the button to hear your baby.

  • ECO Mode (VOX): This mode conserves battery life by turning off the monitor screen when no sound is detected from the baby unit. The screen will automatically turn on when sound is detected. You can adjust the sound sensitivity level in the menu.

4. Tiaki

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your HelloBaby monitor system.
