4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
Proper installation is critical for the safe and efficient operation of the inverter.
4.1 Whakapiki
- Mount the inverter vertically on a non-flammable surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Ensure sufficient clearance around the unit for proper airflow and heat dissipation (refer to Figure 3.2 for ventilation points).
- Avoid locations with direct sunlight, excessive dust, corrosive gases, or high humidity.
4.2 Waea Whakahoahoa
All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes. Use appropriate wire gauges for the power rating.
- Tāuru Mana (R, S, T): Connect the 380VAC three-phase power supply to the designated input terminals.
- Putanga Motika (U, V, W): Connect the three-phase motor to the output terminals.
- Grounding (PE): Connect the protective earth terminal to a reliable ground point. This is essential for safety.
- Waea Mana: Connect external control signals (e.g., start/stop, speed reference, fault indicators) to the control terminals as per your application requirements. Refer to the detailed wiring diagrams in the full technical manual for specific terminal assignments.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
The SKI600 features a user-friendly digital control panel for easy operation.
5.1 Nga Mahi Paewhiri Mana
The control panel (visible in Figure 3.1) includes a digital display and various buttons for parameter setting and operation.
