1. Kupu Whakataki
Welcome to the Aipas C1 Electric Bike user manual. This guide provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new electric bicycle. Please read this manual thoroughly before your first ride and keep it for future reference.

2. Aratohu Haumaru
Always prioritize safety when operating your electric bike. Adhere to local traffic laws and wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet. Regularly inspect your bike for any signs of wear or damage before each ride.
- Wear a certified helmet and other protective gear.
- Perform a pre-ride inspection of brakes, tires, battery, and lights.

3. Tatūnga me te Runanga
The Aipas C1 Electric Bike arrives approximately 95% pre-assembled. The following steps outline the final assembly and initial setup required before your first ride.

- Te Whakatikatika i te Pou Nohoanga me te Nohoanga: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height for comfortable leg extension while pedaling. Secure the quick-release clamp.
- Basket Attachment: Securely attach the front and rear baskets using the provided hardware. Ensure they are stable and do not interfere with steering or wheel rotation.
- Tāuta Pūhiko me te Whakatau: Insert the removable 48V 11Ah battery into its compartment and lock it securely. Fully charge the battery before the first use. Charging typically takes 4-6 hours.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Kei te Hiko / Weto
To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the Smart M6 LCD display. To power off, press and hold the same button until the display turns off.
4.2 Display Functions (Smart M6 LCD)
The Smart M6 LCD display provides real-time information about your ride. It shows speed, mileage, battery level, and Pedal Assist System (PAS) level. The display also features an integrated USB charging port for your mobile devices.

4.3 Pūnaha Awhina Pedal (PAS)
The C1 Electric Bike features 5 levels of pedal assist. Use the control buttons near the display to cycle through PAS levels 1 to 5. Higher levels provide more motor assistance. At PAS level 5, the bike can reach speeds of 28 MPH or higher.
4.4 Te Mahi Whakateretere
The bike is equipped with a twist-grip throttle. Gently twist the throttle to engage the motor without pedaling. The throttle provides immediate power, useful for starting or climbing hills.
4.5 Gear Shifting (7-Speed Derailleur)
The 7-speed gear system allows you to adjust your pedaling effort to different terrains. Use the twist-grip shifter on the handlebar to change gears. Shift to lower gears for climbing and higher gears for flat terrain or downhill riding.

4.6 Braking System (180mm Disc Brakes)
The C1 features dual 180mm disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both brake levers simultaneously for effective and controlled braking. The rear tail light flashes when braking, enhancing visibility.

4.7 Pūnaha Whakatarewa
The bike is equipped with a dual suspension system, including a lockable and adjustable front suspension fork and a transverse rear suspension. This system absorbs shocks and vibrations, providing a smoother and more comfortable ride over varied terrain.

5. Tiaki
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your Aipas C1 Electric Bike.
- Pēhanga Tire: Check tire pressure before each ride. The 26"x2.0" resistant tires are designed for various terrains; maintain recommended pressure for optimal performance and safety.
- Parai: Inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers provide firm and responsive braking. Adjust or replace as needed.
