- Whakamahi Waho Anake: This stove is designed for outdoor use in well-ventilated areas. Never use it inside tents, enclosed spaces, or near flammable materials.
- Pūmate Ahi: Always operate the stove on a stable, non-combustible surface, away from dry grass, leaves, or other flammable objects. Keep a fire extinguisher or water readily available.

- Huihuia te turanga: Interlock the main body panels to form the hexagonal base structure of the stove. Ensure all slots and tabs are securely engaged.
- Whakapiri Waewae: Securely attach the four folding legs to the designated points on the bottom of the assembled base. Ensure they are fully extended and locked into place for stability.
- Insert Internal Grate: Place the internal fuel grate inside the stove body, resting it on the internal supports. This grate holds the fuel and allows ash to fall below.
- Whakatakotoria te Paepae Tunu Kai: Position the hexagonal cooking grate on top of the stove body. Ensure it sits securely on the upper edges.
