This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your SMART LB Apple Find My Enabled Air Tracker Tag, Model FDQF02. This device is designed to help you locate your personal items using Apple's Find My network.

1. Whakamana i te Pūrere

Press the power button located in the center of the device once. You will hear a beep sound, indicating the device has entered pairing mode.

2. Pairing with Your iOS Device

  1. Ensure your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) has Bluetooth enabled and the 'Find My' app is installed and updated.
  2. Open the 'Find My' app on your iOS device.
  3. Navigate to the 'Items' tab.
  4. Tap the '+' icon and select 'Add Other Item' or 'Other Supported Item'.
  5. Your device will detect the SMART LB Air Tracker Tag. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect and name your tracker.

1. Finding Items Nearby (Play Sound)

When your tracker tag is within Bluetooth range of your iOS device, you can make it emit a sound to help you locate it. Open the 'Find My' app, select your tracker from the 'Items' list, and tap 'Play Sound'.

2. Finding Items Far Away (Map Tracking)

If your tracker tag is out of Bluetooth range, you can still locate it using the Apple Find My network. The 'Find My' app will display the last known location of your item on a map, and you can get directions to that location. The network anonymously relays location data from other Apple devices.

3. Aratau Ngaro

If an item with your tracker tag is lost, you can enable 'Lost Mode' in the 'Find My' app. When another Apple device in the Find My network detects your lost item, you will receive a notification of its location. You can also leave a contact message for anyone who finds your item.

4. Left Behind Alarm

Ko te kaiwhaiwhai tag can notify you if you leave an item behind. When the item finder moves out of Bluetooth range from your iPhone, you will receive a notification on your device, indicating the item's last detected location.

5. Ngā Āhuatanga Tūmataitinga

All communication within the Find My network is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. Location data and history are never stored on the item finder itself. The system also includes features to prevent unwanted tracking by alerting you if an unknown tracker moves with you.

6. Wāhi tiritahi

You can share the location of your tracker tag with family and friends through the 'Find My' app, allowing multiple users to track the same item.

Tiaki Pūhiko

The SMART LB Air Tracker Tag uses a replaceable CR2032 lithium metal battery, which is included. The battery can last up to 2 years depending on usage.

1. Te Tirotiro i te Tūnga Pūhiko

You can check the current battery level of your tracker tag within the 'Find My' app on your iOS device.

2. Whakakapi i te Pūhiko

When the battery is low, replace it with a new CR2032 battery. Use the provided mini screwdriver to open the device casing, carefully remove the old battery, insert the new one with the positive (+) side facing up, and secure the casing with the screws. Spare screws are included in the package.

Raparongoā

  • Kaore te taputapu e hono ana: Ensure the device is powered on and in pairing mode (indicated by a beep). Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device and the 'Find My' app is open. Try restarting both the tracker and your iOS device.
  • No sound when 'Play Sound' is activated: Check if the tracker is within Bluetooth range. Ensure the battery is not depleted.
  • Inaccurate location: Location accuracy depends on the density of the Apple Find My network. Ensure your tracker is in an area where it can be detected by other Apple devices.
  • 'Left Behind' notifications not working: Check the settings in the 'Find My' app to ensure 'Notify When Left Behind' is enabled for your tracker. Verify Bluetooth connection is stable.
