2.1 Whakauru Kaari SIM

  1. Ensure the device is powered off before inserting the SIM card.

2.2 Device Wiring and Installation

The BN-401A-L GPS tracker should be installed on the vehicle's onboard power supply (12-24V). Proper wiring is crucial for functionality, including remote engine cut-off if desired.

  3. Relay Connection (for remote engine cut-off): If you intend to use the remote engine cut-off feature, connect the relay according to the provided wiring diagram in the full user manual. This typically involves interrupting the fuel pump or ignition circuit.
  4. SOS Button (Optional): If your model includes an SOS button, connect it as per the detailed wiring instructions.

2.3 Application Download and Account Setup

  1. Download the 'BAANOOL IOT' application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Register for a new account using your email or phone number.
  3. Log in to the application and add your device using its unique IMEI number, which can be found on the device itself or its packaging.
  4. Alternatively, access the web platform via a computer browser and follow similar registration and device addition steps.

3.1 Real-time Tracking

Once the device is installed and configured, you can monitor your vehicle's location in real-time through the BAANOOL IOT app or web tūāpapa.

  • Open the BAANOOL IOT app or log in to the web tūāpapa.

  • The map will display the vehicle's position, speed, direction, and ignition status.

3.2 History Playback

Review past travel routes and activities:

  • Navigate to the 'History' or 'Track Playback' section in the app/platform.
  • Select a date and time range to view the vehicle's route during that period.

3.3 GEO-Fence Setup

Create virtual boundaries for your vehicle:

  • In the app/platform, go to the 'GEO-Fence' section.
  • Draw a desired area on the map.
  • Configure alerts for when the vehicle enters or exits this defined area.
