- Tīpako Tauwāhi Whakapuru: Choose a suitable wall location that is stable and can support the weight of the enclosure and its contents. Ensure adequate clearance for opening the door.
- Tohua nga Tohu Keri: Use the four wall mounting holes on the back of the enclosure as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
- Rua rua: Drill appropriate holes for your chosen mounting hardware (not included, typically screws and anchors).
- Mount Enclosure: Securely attach the enclosure to the wall using the mounting hardware. Ensure it is level and firmly fixed.
- Tāuta Wae: The removable galvanized mounting backplate facilitates the installation of electrical components. Install your devices onto this plate before securing the plate inside the enclosure.
- Whakapapa: Connect the enclosure to a reliable earth ground using the provided earthing screw.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Once installed and wired by a qualified electrician, operating the enclosure involves ensuring its protective features are maintained.
- Uru: Use the provided key to unlock and open the enclosure door.
- Katinga Haumaru: After accessing or performing any work inside, ensure the door is closed firmly and the lock is engaged to maintain the IP66 rating.
- Tiaki Taiao: The enclosure is designed to protect against dust and water. Avoid direct, high-pressure water jets unless the enclosure is specifically rated for it, as this could compromise the seal over time.
