3. Hua Neke Atuview

The Pelsee S12 Pro is a 12-inch mirror dash cam featuring a 4K front camera and a 1080P rear camera. It integrates advanced technologies for enhanced driving safety and recording capabilities.

3.1 Waenga Matua

  • Main Mirror Unit: 12-inch touchscreen display with integrated 4K front camera.

4. Tāutanga

4.1 Tāutanga o te Wāhanga Whakaata

  1. Attach the main mirror unit over your existing rearview mirror using the provided rubber straps. Ensure it is securely fastened and does not obstruct your view.
  2. Connect the 11.5ft car charger to the USB-C power input on the top of the mirror unit and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.
  3. Connect the GPS antenna to its dedicated input on the mirror unit. Position the antenna on your dashboard or windshield for optimal signal reception.

4.2 Whakamutunga Kaamera Whakamuri

  1. Mount the 1080p rear camera at the rear of your vehicle, typically above the license plate or on the rear windshield. Use the provided 3M adhesive pads or screws for secure attachment.
  2. Route the 19.6ft rear camera cable from the rear camera to the main mirror unit. Conceal the cable along the vehicle's headliner and A-pillar using the pry tool to tuck it neatly.
  3. Connect the rear camera cable to the rear camera input on the mirror unit.
  4. For automatic reverse view with parking guidelines, connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reverse light power wire.

Tuhipoka: The dash cam measures 11.81 inches (L) x 2.95 inches (H) x 0.59 inches (W). It may not fit rearview mirrors shorter than 6.3 inches, thicker than 5.91 inches, or with irregular shapes. For such cases, an optional OEM Bracket Mount (ASIN: B0D5D3HVBJ) is available for secure installation.

5.1 Power On and Basic Settings

  1. Once connected, the dash cam will power on automatically with your vehicle's ignition.
  2. The touchscreen interface allows for easy navigation. Tap the screen to access the main menu.
  3. Navigate to 'System Settings' to adjust date/time, language, speed unit (MPH/KMH), and other preferences.
  4. In 'Camera Settings', you can select video resolution (4K for front, 1080P for rear), video length, frequency, and rearview kōwhiringa.

  • Periodically format the 64GB memory card through the dash cam's settings to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Ensure all cable connections are secure to prevent interruptions in power or recording.
