This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Spypoint Flex S Dark cellular trail camera. The Spypoint Flex S Dark is a high-performance trail camera designed for wildlife monitoring and security applications, featuring 40 Mpixels image resolution and cellular transmission capabilities.

2. Tatūnga

Follow these steps to prepare your Spypoint Flex S Dark camera for use.

2.1. Tāuta Pūhiko

The Flex S Dark camera can be powered by 8 AA batteries or a Spypoint LIT-22 rechargeable lithium battery pack. For optimal performance, especially in cold weather, the LIT-22 battery pack is recommended.

  1. Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the camera.
  2. If using AA batteries, insert 8 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. If using the LIT-22 battery pack, insert the pack into the designated slot.

2.2. Kōkuhu Kāri SD

A compatible SD card (up to 32 GB, Class 10 recommended) is required to store photos and videos. The camera supports SD card formats.

2.3. Antenna Attachment

Attach the provided cellular antenna to the antenna port on the top of the camera. Ensure it is finger-tight for optimal signal reception.

Download the Spypoint app on your smartphone and follow the in-app instructions to activate your camera and configure settings. This includes selecting your desired transmission plan and camera modes.

Captured photos and videos are transmitted to your Spypoint app via the cellular network. You can also retrieve files directly from the SD card by removing it from the camera and inserting it into a computer or card reader.
